"When You Wish Upon a Star" is a song written by Leigh Harline and Ned Washington for Walt Disney's 1940 animated movie adaptation of Pinocchio. The original version was sung byJiminy Cricket (Cliff Edwards) and is heard over the opening credits and in the final scene of the film. It was also as well, heard in the end of the short Once Upon a Studio sung by all the Disney Characters in a 100-year group photo.
