The Park is the main location of the Cartoon Network animated series, Regular Show. It consists of a playground, a field, a water fountain, a Snack Bar, Pops' House, and Skips's House. During Season Seven, a dome was played on top of the park by the dome scientists where they converted the park into a ship and the park, along with the main characters, are sent into space, along with other parks on Earth in the finale. In Season Eight, the park now functions as a space ship.
Story[]
The Park has many locations, the most common being Pops’ House. During The Dome Experiment, a dome was placed on top of the park to create a contained ecosystem. The park workers are trapped in the dome as a result of Benson getting the date wrong. It is later revealed the date was changed by Mr. Maellard. The dome is taken off the Park until The Button, when it returns. The park workers are told to protect a button by Dr. Langer. They manage to not press it, and the button is locked up. The dome stays on the park for the rest of the season with the Dome Scientists studying the park workers. In Rigby’s Graduation Day Special, the Park Workers are instructed to press the button. They arrive at the Park and press it, and everything suddenly starts shaking. The dome door is locked and everybody in the Park attempts to escape. The Park then flies into the air with everybody trapped inside. Everybody looks around afterwards and looks down at the Earth. It is revealed at the end of the episode that Eileen was in the House the whole time, and is now trapped in space with everybody else. Eventually Chance Sureshot, Toothpick Sally, and Recap Robot arrive at the Park Dome, and turn Pops’ room into a control room. They then fly the Park Dome to the Space Tree, where it stays for the first half of Season 8. In Space Escape, the Space Tree is attacked by Anti-Pops, who‘s goal is to get rid of Pops. The Park Dome manages to escape the Space Tree, before being stopped by Anti-Pops’ ship. Anti-Pops' ship locks onto the Park Dome with a laser. Chance Sureshot sacrifices himself to destroy the laser, allowing the Park Dome to escape. For the second half of Season 8, the Park Dome flies through space attempting to hide from Anti-Pops and learn about Pops’ origins. In The Ice Tape, they meet the Earl, who trains Pops and unlocks his true powers. He is eventually killed by Anti-Pops after Pops attempts to befriend Anti-Pops. They eventually meet the Seer, who tells them the final battle will take place on Lolliland.
The Park Dome arrives at Lolliland, where they are greeted by the locals who show them the ancient tapestries depicting the final battle. They also learn the battle has never ended in victory, and the universe is reset every time. They set up a giant trap to defeat Anti-Pops. Anti-Pops arrived and activates the trap, in which spikes and missles are launched at Anti-Pops. The trap finishes with the Park Dome blasting Anti-Pops with a laser. Anti-Pops is unharmed by the trap and proceeds to make a deal with Pops, if Pops knocks Anti-Pops over, the universe is saved, and if Anti-Pops knocks Pops over, the universe is erased. Pops is eventually knocks over Anti-Pops using a ship resembling the Titanic. Anti-Pops erases the ship and keeps fighting, however the Park workers are aided by HD DVD & Blu-Ray, the Baby Ducks, Party Horse, the Guardians of Eternal Youth, Gary, Death, Carter & Briggs, Toothpick Sally, Recap Robot, and clone of Chance Sureshot. They all fuse together into their final form. Eventually, Anti-Pops reaches his ultimate power and starts erasing Lolliland itself. Muscle Man and High Five Ghost are caught in the erasing beam and make their last “My Mom” joke before dying. Pops gets angry enough over their death to reach his ultimate power. Anti-Pops then erases Lolliland, killing everybody who was still on it. Mordecai and Rigby notice the end of the universe is coming, and fly their ship between Pops and Anti-Pops fists, being sent back to the Park. Mordecai and Rigby eventually regain their memory and notice everybody else is gone. They use the Power to go back and help Pops. After Anti-Pops breaks the 4th wall, Pops sets Mordecai and Rigby down on a meteor. He then sacrifices himself and flies into the Sun with Anti-Pops. This causes everything Anti-Pops erased to return, including the Park and its workers.
After 3 years in space, the Park Dome flies back to Earth, and returns to it’s rightful place in the City. 25 years later, Mr. Maellard joins his son in the afterlife and it is assumed that Benson is now also Mr. Maellard's successor as the owner of the Park. It is also the place all the characters reunite for the 25-year Park Reunion.
