The Fighters are the names given to the crafts used by the in-game protagonists of the 1994 eroge shoot 'em up Steam-Heart's. They are used to eliminate a group of hostiles who were turned made as a result from a virus infection that spread across the in-game world. Only the 1P pilot holds the cure to the virus, and must cure the afflicted before it's too late.
Histroy[]
On a planet Westina in the far future, a mysterious virus is unleashed across the world, infecting anyone who is exposed to it, including six princesses titled "Master Embryos" and an empress Nirvana Proto of Westina. The virus causes those who are afflicted with the disease to turn mad and violent, thus starting an all-out war that threatens to destroy the entire planet. Only two individuals, a male humanoid named Blondia Varady (or Blow for short) and his 'sister' (a hermaphrodite) Fallandia (or Falla for short) are spared from the disease. The two climb aboard their respective fighters in order to infiltrate each of the princesses' territory and administer the cure on them (which Blow must accomplish by performing sexual intercourse with the princesses as the antidote is synthesized to his reproductive system).
In each environment, the siblings battle through each of the Master Embryos' forces, before confronting the Embryos themselves, forcing them to engage in a brutal battle in their respective mechs. Once the mechs are destroyed, the siblings begin to interact with Embryos, resulting in Blow having to administer the antidote sexually. After defeating and curing the final princess, the siblings confront the empress Nirvana Proto herself. After battling, triumph over the mighty empress, siblings cure her as well and then return home, having saved their planet from an imminent doom.
Weapons[]
The Fighters are armed with two primary weapons and a variety of secondary weapons to help battle against each of the princesses' forces; some of the secondary weapons are only available in certain versions of the game. All weapons can be upgraded by collecting their respective power-ups, which fill up a power meter that upon maxing out will upgrade the weapon to its next tier.
Primary[]

- Vulcan Cannon - The default primary weapon of the fighters, it fires a standard cannon that can destroy most small enemies with ease. When upgraded, the number of shots and the spread increases.

- Laser - fires a green laser that penetrates small enemies and deals more damage than the vulcan cannon, but lacks a defensive spread. When upgraded, the width of the main laser increases, while an additional two laser shots will be fired to the sides of the fighter at a 45 degree angle.
Secondary[]
- Fixed Turret - deploys a a single pod that fires a stream of vulcan shots in a v-pattern. It is only available in the Sega Saturn version.
- Missiles - fires a pair of missiles straight forward, which explode upon hitting any enemy. The missiles have rapid-fire capabilities.
- Homing Shot - fires a pair of energy shots that track down the nearest enemies with high accuracy and speed.
- Homing Satellites - deploys a pair of satellites that track down nearby enemies and fire laser shots upon them, they will not switch enemies until either the player's craft or the enemy they are targeting is destroyed. In the PC-98 version, two satellites will be deployed, while in the Sega Saturn version, a total of four will be deployed. In the PC Engine version, a similar weapon that instead deals contact damage on enemies it tracks will be deployed.
- Spread Bomb - deploys a large bomb that arcs forwards before exploding, creating an explosion that travels a moderate distance, destroying anything in its path. The weapon deals high damage, but has a slow fire rate. Only available in the Sega Saturn version.
Other[]
- Shield - deploys a force field around the fighter(s), which protects them from incoming fire for a limited time before being depleted. Only available in the PC Engine and Sega Saturn versions.
- Dash Maneuver - a unique ability that allows the fighters to perform an evasive dash in any direction, making it useful for dodging incoming enemy fire. There is a short cooldown period between uses.
