Just as there are longing songs for the hero, in many a story, there's a Comfort Song. This is a song the hero sings to someone (or another person sings to them) when comforting that person after a terrible or tragic event, or when it comes to missing someone. A character can also sing a comfort song when someone has to leave or the hero's hopes are dashed.
