Breaking Your Silence is the scenario where the hero/heroine finally decided to reveal things which they withhold for too long.

Overview[]

For one reason or another, a hero/heroine may find themselves withholding certain information from others. However, doing so for too long would bring more harm than good, especially when the trust between the hero/heroine and their allies that matters. As such, it's imperative to reveal such information by themselves or through a confidant before it's too late.

As of information the hero/heroine may withhold, it could be either or combination of following;

What they actually feel about someone or something.
A truth that should never be hidden.
The backstory of the hero/heroine and/or someone they know which they normally kept for themselves.
Realizing their allies' actions too questionable.

Some heroes/heroines may forced to break their silence after part of such secret ended up known to certain people and got confronted for it, especially if it got twisted by the likes of manipulative villains. Wiser one on the other hand, would take their time thinking about it throughly before telling others their side of the story so it would be bearable to those whom they'd like to tell and ensure damage from withholding it could be reversed.

This scenario might be opposite of Hidden Disdain Reveal from TV Tropes.org but, it is NOT based on such trope, let alone other topics in such site. Even in real life people tend to hid things from others out of good intentions which, as expected, potentially cause more harm than good if attempted in long run. If anything, this may count as one of possible scenario of The Noble Choice.

- Nita: Admitting to Kenai about the incident which caused her aquaphobia — the day she fell into the ice when they were young — that caused her to be too afraid of retrieving Kenai's bag along with the amulet within when it fell into the river.
- Olga Solis: Admitting that she missed the real Elio Solis as she prepares a message asking the aliens to bring him back after he got banished from the Communiverse.
- Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde: Finally overshare their own disabilities after taking out Pawbert Lynxly and helping Gary 'De Snake find his old home in Zootopia.
Po: He had done this thrice:
- Finally confesses to Shifu that the reason he soldiered on despite his tough times as the latter's student all this time was because he believed in the Kung Fu master's ability to bring out a change in him to the better than he was in the present.

But now I ask you to trust in your master as I have come to trust in mine. Po: You're not my master. (shoves the staff away) And I'm not the Dragon Warrior. Shifu: Then why didn't you quit?! You knew I was trying to get rid of you, and yet you stayed! Po: Yeah, I stayed. (gets to his feet) I stayed because though every time you threw a brick at my head or said I smelled, it hurt... but it could never hurt more than it did every day of my life just being me. (pauses to give the stunned Shifu time to process what he just said) I stayed because I thought if anyone could change me... could make me... not me, it was you! The greatest kung fu teacher in all of China! Shifu: But I can change you! I can turn you into the Dragon Warrior! And I will! Po: Oh come on! Tai Lung is on his way here right now!
