Arkham Asylum is a asylum where the criminals that Batman fights and defeats goes to. It is located on an Island with a North, East and West courtyard.

Security Guards are heavily armed and armoured, resembling riot police and carried Assault Rifles, Shotguns and even Sniper Rifles.

During the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum, The Joker surrendered himself after taking Gotham City's Mayor hostage and then he took control over the prison with the assistance of Harley Quinn, his henchwomen. Many criminals then escaped, leaving Batman to stop Joker, many were killed including thugs, security guards and scientists.
